Key Account Manager

Job Description / Responsibility:

Job objective
To achieves maximum sales profitability, sales growth and account penetration within an assigned area by effective sales activities.
Personally contacts and secures business of key accounts, create new business accounts to achieve assigned sales target.

Key responsibilities

  • Research and develop strategies and plans which identify marketing opportunities, direct marketing, and new project development.
  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
  • Manage major and critical developing customer accounts.
  • Participate in the development of new project proposals as required.
  • Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and   operating procedures as required by the management.
  • Promote positive relations with customers.
  • Monitor and analyze sales and marketing activity against targets and competitors.
  • Responsible for overseeing all sales activities in assigned regions.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinates sales effort with finance, productions and technical supporters.
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products developments.
  • Achieving Sales Targets. Monitoring activities of the customers.

Educational Requirements

  • BBA /MBA in Marketing from reputed university


  • Secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a structured sales process and as well relationship-based approach.
  • Expansion of market share.
  • Explains company products and services to existing / potential customers and assists them in selecting those best suited to their needs.

Personal Attributes

  •  Must have a good network in the RMG industry in Bangladesh.
  •  Experience in marketing strategies planning.
  •  Outgoing personality, strong interpersonal   skills, with a high level of ability to communicate clearly and concisely, especially with key customers.
  •  High motivation, honesty, flexibility, carefulness   and reliability.
  •  Well organized, keeps deadlines.
  •  Strong presentation skills, good communicator and motivator.
  •  Flexible, independent working style
  •  Friendly, positive & open minded behavior, loyal and honest attitude
  •  Analytical thinking and problem solving.
  •  At least 4 – 5 years of experience working in MNC preferable in the RMG accessories industry.
  •  Excellent English communication, presentation skills both verbally and written.
  •  Adaptable  and open to different cultures
  •  Team work is  a must
